This wonderful print of Stirling Castle was taken from a beautiful old color book illustration printed about 1915. It's the first view of Kings knot we've seen with crops being harvested. The description at the bottom reads: "In 1304 the Castle was taken by the English after a three month's siege, and held by them until the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314."
The image is 6 x 8 inches in size.
