137. Theodore L Marshall was born on 17 Jul 1840 in Clarksburg, PA. ! listed in The Sterling Genealogy. Enlisted in Company E, 11th PA Regt, then 40th Regt, PA Vols. Was captured at Gaines Mill and spent 40 days in Libby & Belle Island prisons. Was in the battles of South Mountain, Antietam, & Fredericksburg.
Was severely wounded in the last battle and retired from service. Moved to Osage City, Kansas in 1881 and helped organize the Osage County Bank. He was a cashier. He was treasure of Osage Co., in 1872-75, county commissioner 1870, State Senator
1884-88.

He was married to Margaret Fulton on 4 Feb 1869. Margaret Fulton was born on 15 Nov 1842 in County Antrim, Ireland. ! Listed in The Sterling Genealogy. Married name was Lancaster. Married to William Lancaster, captain of Copmany E, 11th PA Regt Cav., killed at the battle of Five Forks, VA.,17 Apr 1862. Theodore L Marshall and Margaret Fulton had the following children:
