2. Sir John Stirling of Keir and Cawder, Knight was born on 13 Apr 1638 in Ochiltrie, Scotland. He died in Mar 1683/84 in Cadder, Bishopbriggs, Scotland.

He was married to Lilias Colquhon (daughter of Sir John Colqhoune of Laird of Lusse) on 2 Dec 1675 in Abbey of Holyroodhouse, Scotland. (1) Lilias Colquhon died on 31 Dec 1726 in Cadder, Bishopbriggs, Scotland.(2) Sir John Stirling of Keir and Cawder, Knight and Lilias Colquhon had the following children:
